About me
I’m Libby Cheetham, a Certified Baby & Toddler Sleep Consultant and founder of Libby Sleep Consultancy. I am also a Mummy of 3 to H (4yr) and A&T (2yr girl/boy twins)!
We had numerous sleepless nights of feeding/rocking H to sleep and pacing around the room which led to sleep deprivation and negativity kicking in. I knew I would have sleepless nights as a parent but this was too far and my husband and I needed help. Sleep consultancy revolutionised my life and going into a second (twin) pregnancy with the tips and tools needed to optimise my babies’ sleep meant that we were putting ourselves in the best possible position to never get to that situation again. I qualified as an Infant Sleep Consultant to help other families improve their sleep and thrive not survive
I work with families to improve their little one’s sleep from 5 months through to 5 years. I use a range of methods which means I can be reactive to each individual situation as every baby is different and will respond to different approaches, however I do not use the Cry It Out method.
I provide Bespoke 1:1 Sleep Plans to improve baby’s and toddler’s sleep but my added value is the Daily Support I offer as part of my plan. Taking the step towards improving your child’s sleep is a big one and I am there to guide you through the process and can guarantee results.

Full detailed analysis and review of your child’s current day and night routine over 3-4 days.
1 hour video consultation with me to discuss any sleep issues and answer any questions about the process

What will these improvements look like afterwards?
By the end of our plan, you will achieve the following:
Your baby or toddler will be able to fully self-settle, leading to longer stretches of sleep and depending on night feeding requirements, sleep through the night.
You will be able to put your child into their sleep space and walk out of the room, leaving them to settle to sleep on their own.
A better daytime structure, improved napping and flexibility so that you can still have your child nap AND have a social life with them.
Confidence in knowing that you will be able to adapt to your child’s developmental changes.

I asked for Libby’s help with my daughter Brooke because even at almost 2.5 years she was still not regularly sleeping through the night, getting her down to sleep was a nightly battle and she would always wake up screaming several times at night!
I was a mum in a mess, where bed time with my daughter was as unpleasant as they could come. Finally falling asleep around 9.30pm/10pm, it was affecting mine and Brooke’s relationship.
After speaking with Libby, she made me feel so comfortable about my situation. She was patient and gave me just the right tools I needed to regain my sanity.

Faye + 3 yrs (girl)
We worked with Libby to help with bedtime battles for our 3 year old daughter Gracie. She was using all the toddler delaying tactics in the book (“I’m still hungry/thirsty/need a wee!”), leading to tears and not letting us leave the room until she was asleep. The same thing happened if she woke in the night. Bedtime was taking over an hour and a half leaving us in desperate need to reclaim our evenings and feel less exhausted.
Libby transformed our bedtime routine through a gradual, tailored sleep plan. Gracie is now calm and happy to go to bed each night and we’re usually cooking dinner or relaxing in the evening from 7.30pm. If Gracie wakes in the night, she is able to self settle independently back to sleep. Libby was fantastic throughout – she was very kind and understanding, providing truly supportive and practical advice.

Olivia + 10m (boy/girl twins)
We asked Libby to help us with our girl / boy twins when they were 10 months old. My husband and I were on our knees with sleep deprivation and I was close to returning to work after maternity leave and not sure how I was going to cope. The twins were on similar daytime routines but during the night would wake at different times, often 3-4 times each a night which ended up being hourly.
Libby hekped us focus on consistent daytime routines and focussing on wake windows which previously had been too long. Libby helped us teach our 11 month old girl / boy twins to self settle independently and reducing night wakings from 3-4 a night to sleeping 7-7!
